Dan's background in accounting and law provide him the unique ability to assist clients in the areas of taxation and estate planning. Accordingly, he is able to help his clients understand the advice they have received from attorney's and CPAs. Dan then works closely with these advisors to collaboratively help achieve the financial goals of each client.
Raised in the Midwest, Dan believes that honest, open communication is essential. Most important, Dan always places the needs and interests of the client first.
Dan joined Baird in 2008 from Merrill Lynch. Prior to entering the financial industry in 1998, Dan practiced law as a partner at O'Connor Cavanagh Law Firm concentrating in real estate and finance law. He received his law degree from Hastings College of the Law in 1981. Prior to attending law school, Dan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a BS in Accounting.
Dan is a member of Paradise Valley Country Club, sits on the Board of Directors of the Paradise Valley, Arizona Chapter of International Wife and Food Society and is active parishioner in his church. Dan and his wife Cheryl have two children, Chris and Mary.
